Hello! As this card posts, I'll be sitting at the hospital waiting to do some more lovely tests and scans and other things you know I LOVE oh, so much! blech! The being sick part is much easier than going to the hospital for all of this stuff....... oh well, what is a gal to do other than drink coffee and stamp and get on with her life when not getting poked and prodded and lasered and such?!?! grins! I'll be ever so thankful when the day comes along that we have those nifty hand held scanner like they use in Star Trek.........
anyhow.... more than enough of that...... on to this fun card! I was actually able to get my card posted in time for the challenge last week at Shirleys 2 Girlz, (I am just getting it here a day late - that's all! giggles!). The challenge for the week was to make a card using the sketch and the word 'boo'. well, since all of you know that we don't really 'do' Halloween, I had to come up with something else. The other day, S2G hit 100 followers over at SNR and celebrated by giving away this uber cute digi. I decided to use it and come up with my own little sentiment. It just seemed perfect, as I have felt this way MANY times with my hugey huge huge feet! :) ta da! the perfect card was on it's way! Toss in some Basic Grey Sultry paper, some shimmerz and blingz on EVERY pair of shoes, some fun vintage seam tape, and we have a wonderful card! the circle is actually a chipboard coaster that I covered with the paper and then distressed. oh yes, we mustn't forget the BLING baby - those cutie little rhinestones!!!!
a new challenge posted this morning - cats! how fun will that be!??!!? just purrrrrfect, I say!
love to you all! Jennifer

What an adorable card! And how on earth did you focus on writing the text, while being in the hospital? You're in my prayers right now. Sending healing thoughts.

Very chic. Love your take on teh challenge in a different way to use the word boo.
Cute card! I agree that it would be so much better to have a Star Trek scanner then getting poked and prodded. You are in my prayers.
