Mid-Month Inspiration Post for Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Extra

Favorite at Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge

It's now time to share my mid-month post for Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra. because of the time difference I have to post my card the evening of the 14th so it coincides with the post going live in the UK on the 15th. ;)

Our challenge is always sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps, but  mid-month DT projects can feature images from anywhere.

Today's card has a cute little image from Sandra Caldwell called 'Head Elf' because he was a perfect match to the Boot Card Template from Shape EZ. don't you think so?

paper is from the Basic Grey Evergreen collection, flowers & holly leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts, striped satin ribbon & gold twine are from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and pretty little doilies are an Etsy purchase. I added some stickles accent dots to the boot and white gel pen & glitter pen accents to the main image.

playing along in the Christmas Extra challenge is a great way to get a jump start on your holiday cards! hope to see you there. :)

Challenges:
Christmas Card Ch - anything Christmas goes

QKR - add some sparkle (stickles, gold/silver ribbon, gold twine, & glitter pen highlights)
Simply Papercraft - anything goes

What a fab shoe-shape with this gorgeous patterned paper. Looks like the design may have been a bit tricky, but oh, is it ever impressive. The floral bouquet tucked at the bottom is just extra spice onto this festive footware, as is the cute little elf with his prezzie. Just a wonderful entry for the shaped card theme of the HLS March Christmas Challenge. Thanks for joining us.
