Waving hello! :)
this is my first post as a NEWBIE over on the
RRR blog! to say I'm happy would be a slight understatement! I'm still floating around on Cloud 9 that I'm a part of this most fabulously amazing team of crafters....
I confess right off the bat that I have a crush on the
silky crush ribbon.... yes, it's corny, but oh, so true! you'll probably find me saying that I am in puppy love with pretty much every ribbon Bonnie has in the
store, but there is just something so irresistible about
this line of ribbons.... so yes, I think I ordered them all. ha!
when I received my
ribbon kit for this month (okay, have to stop and go SQUEAL for a moment.... isn't it fabulous?!?!!?), I noticed how well the golds blend with the
champagne silky crush. bingo! card making time!
images are from
Make it Crafty, pearl/rhinestone swirl, blue roses, and gold glitter flower are all from Prima, rose buds are WOC, and button is vintage. paper is actually a Christmas one from Basic Grey - Merrily from the Juniper Berry collection. the gold stripes were perfect for what I wanted. :) little accents of shimmerz paint were added to parts of the church as well as distress stickles to the flower centers of the frame.
Challenges (wedding card):
Craft Rocket - pearls & gems (the flourish is actually both)
Star Stampz - pick 3 or more from list on blog: digi, pearls (from flourish), ribbon, button, flower, sparkle (shimmerz paint, stickles, and glitter on rose)
Love to Scrap - bling (rhinestone/pearl flourish, shimmerz paint, stickles, glitter, & gold!)
I also wanted to share a few more photos from my Pocket Tag Advent Calendar for the current
challenge, "Tag, You're It." I'll share a few more tomorrow as well.
for more info about supplies and how the calendar was made, please check
this post. thanks!
I do hope you'll play along in the latest
challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon, "Tag, You're It.". we'd love to see you there! :)
Challenges (Advent Calendar):
Southern Girls - twine, tape, or ribbon (this project has all of them. washi tape is on the sides of each pocket. each tag has twine, and the base is wrapped in several kinds of ribbon as well as some of the pockets containing ribbon, too.)
