yep, the results are in. I have breast cancer. still trying to process the news.....get my head wrapped around all that now lies before us. thankfully the dr.s are moving at a very fast pace and are just as kind as can possibly be. I see the surgeon on Monday, so we'll go from there.
Tyler is coming home this weekend again. It will be wonderful to see him and spend some time together. goodness gracious me, was it ever hard telling the guys the news. but they are being so wonderful about everything. my SIL, Susan, cracks me up with her reaction. raising my shot of tequila to ya, Sue! ;)
I'll craft as I am able and post whatever I make. I hope y'all can understand why I'm just not up to it right now, plus still so very very tired. my dr. said that is to be expected. and boy does this explain why I've felt so poopy for so long. so we can only go up from here, right?! ;)
The sun is shining so gloriously right now. it makes me smile. :)
love to each of you, just for being YOU!
My prayers are with you Jen! You are a very special lady...thank you so much for the birthday wishes, even with everything you have going on ... you are so positive!! ReplyDeleteDear Jenn,
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to you and I can only imagine all the feelings you must be going through right now. Please know that I'll be thinking of you and saying extra prayers for you to beat this!
As the daughter and best-friend to two breast cancer survivors, I know very well that hearing this news is very hard and upsetting, but I also know that you can beat time and be much like my Mom and friend, Kim who now are both Survivors. My Mom for just over 5 years and Kim will be at 10 years in October. She has been blessed to also go on to have a second child since her diagnosis and her surgery and she was a new Mom of a two year year old, when she was diagnosed, on her very first Mammogram.
I'm saying lots of prayers and WISH so much that someone as sweet and kind as you are, did not have to go through this awful experience.
If you ever need to talk, laugh, cry, scream or yell...you can reach out to me!!
Hugs,
Lisa
