Today is opening day, and I don't mean baseball! ;) I'm sure most of you are familiar with the adorable stamps & images that come from Paper Makeup Stamps. Well today marks the beginning of their new digi challenge blog -Digi Makeover Challenges. I am quite honored to be a part of this incredible DT. our first challenge is based on the colors of Paper Makeup Stamps - pink, black, grey, and white. use these colors on your papercraft project. you don't have to use PMS images, but if you do and are chosen as a winner, you get extra digis! can't beat that! ;)


I chose to use this cutie fairy, Tina, on my card. Papers are Authentique Uncommon - a gorgeous collection of pink hued papers. as luck would have it, other colors included grey and black! was I ever happy to see that when I went to pick out paper! I wanted to combine both a funky grunge look with a feminine look, so you will see staples and newsprint mixed with shimmer & lace. I think it suits the youth of today perfectly! the flower was quickly made by twisting some crepe paper. easy peasy! whole thing took about 30 seconds to put together. the leaves are covered in rock candy distress stickles, my ab fab fave of the distress stickles. the floral metal button is paired with pretty soft, satin ribbon. I painted in a sidewalk to give her something to skate upon! ;)
