House Mouse Challenge My Valentine

Coffee of the Day - Chocolate Velvet

Another little cutie mouse for the House Mouse Monday Challenge group. This one is a 4 1/4" square. I cut a heart doilie in half, lightly sponged it in SU! pink pirouette, adhered it to some pretty Flair Designs paper I've had around forever it seems, and mounted my cutie little mouse image! The heart center is covered in stickles. Pulled out the label maker for the sentiment for something a bit different. Flower is from Petaloo.

Now for some REALLY GREAT NEWS!!!! When I went to the dr. yesterday, he informed me that the PET scan revealed no signs of cancer!!!! yippppeeeee!!! man, oh man, are we thrilled!!! It did show another cyst that is actually bigger than the tumor on my pancreas (what is up with my body growing these weird things?!), but he doesn't see any reason for surgery now. This is a change from what he had told us at my last appt., but hey, I will take this news in a heartbeat! Anyhow, I have to go back in 6 months to have all the tests and scans run again to see how things have progressed. Sooooooo, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your prayers and kind words of encouragement! It means so very much to my family and me!

    i'm so happy for you jennifer!!!! i absolutely (i guess who doesn't) hate cancer. i lost my MIL to pancreatic cancer in '07. here's to wishing you a happy and healthy 2009 and beyond!

    Jen, I'm so glad to hear your good news, and apologize for not stopping by in a few days - I did not know you were also trying for the HM DT - Good luch girl - you would definitely be an asset!! And, just keep submitting - they did not accept me for May/June or July/Aug - it's what they need/want when the want it - just don't give up - no risk/no reward - your cards are great!! Dru
