It's the weekend! woo hooo! are you doing a happy dance? got big plans? well around here, it's moving out time - moving out to Camp for the summer that is..... tomorrow begins Staff Training at Camp Burton, so off my family goes. Summer Camp begins the following week. I'll see my guys for a few hours every so often, but otherwise it's just me and the dogs here by our lonesomes until August.

Which is why my card is so so very perfect for the new challenge starting up today over at The Doodle Garden - Summer Lovin'.  since summer around here means camp, I knew I had to make a card with these cutey  images from Jenn! I hope you will play along with us! You don't have to use Doodle Garden images, but there are some cute freebies available if you would like, or pop by the Etsy store to do a bit of fun shopping! :)

I created a little campsite scene using the Camp Fire, Weenie and Mallows, and Let's Go Camping images. sentiment is from Create with TLC. papers are from the Kaisercraft Hunt and Gather collection. the sun was made with stars and a circle punched from my ever so handy Starbucks coffee cozies. they were then inked with white craft and sprayed with yellow glimmer mist. LOVE the hiking boot twill ribbon with this. I knew I had been saving it for a reason! ;)

gotta sign this card and tuck it into someone's backpack. yhen they can all look at it late at night after campfires and remember their dear old mom back home and how much she loves them! :)
