It's Snowing! :)

Coffee of the Day - Eggnog

oh glory be, it has been snowing here since yesterday! what delight to see the world in white! :) every time I look out my window, my heart just soars with joy! I so love the snow, but never more than at this time of year. my house is full of people (and pets!!) I love, our tummies are full of the most tasty food, we are warm and snug - oh, how we are blessed! :)

let us never forget the little things in our lives, for they are truly the big things that keep everything else in perspective.

yesterday we had a most amazing visit from David's sister, Susan, from Texas. it did all of us so much good to spend the day with her! she is a bright spot in our lives every time we see her! I slept most of the day, but gosh, how it made me smile to hear her laughter ringing through my home. and it's such an infectious laugh, too! once she started, everyone else joined along. what a most lovely way to drift off to sleep - knowing that my family was happy. what more could I possibly want?!

Hugs and smoochies to all of you! Jennifer

Hi Jennifer! It's good to see a couple new posts from you. So glad to hear you've been surrounded by laughter and loved ones this week. We saw a bit of snow too as we traveled home from upstate NY today - love how it makes everything look fresh and clean. Praying the rest of your weekend is as blessed. {hugs}

Just popping by to say "Hi!" I can't believe you have snow already. It was 60 on Thanksgiving and was only 22 today. Brrrrr...

Take care!

Hi Jennifer!
I'm so happy to hear that you had a lovely visit with your sister-in-law. Infectious laughter throughout a home is certainly a welcome sound to warm your soul.
I pray that you are doing well & enjoying your snow. Enjoy it for me too. I live in sunny southern California & don't see much of the pretty white stuff to satisfy me. I can see it from afar on mountains but they haven't had a dusting yet.
Huggies & Sweet Blessings to you ~
Sharron♥

Hi Jenn,
Stopping by to say hi and let you know you are on my mind

Happy to hear that you had a enjoyable Holiday and that having Susan with you made it extra special.

We had some light snow today and now whenever we have snow, I always think of you and how much you love it. OF course, with me being quite the opposite, it makes me smile to know the it's such a pleasant event for you and because of that I try to remember that for you it's a think of beauty and JOY and although I do LOVE the wonderful beauty of a fresh snowfall, I still dread the cold that unfortunately has to come with it.
You have been on my mind often this past week and I truly wish I had some magical powers so that I could make you feel better and beat this nasty monster that has decided to run you over. I still can not believe that you have been put through this and WILL never ever understand why someone as sweet, kind and caring as you, has to deal with this dreaded illness?? WHY??? Why you.......not fair, is all I can say....

I am sure these are questions you've asked yourself and I have done the same in some ways over dealing with Fibro, but that's nothing compared to what you are doing now and it often makes me feel terrible when I feel crappy, knowing there are others who are suffering and feeling so much worse. Who am I to complain, when things could be so much worse.

Please know I'm continuing to pray for you, David and the boys and hope with all my heart that you can still beat this! I'm hoping you are doing okay and from your words it really sounds like you are at peace and I greatly admire your strength and courage and wonder if I could ever be as strong as you!

Bless you heart! Please take care and know I'll remember to think of you smiling, as you look out the window at you "world in white". I hope for you this winter is one with lots of beautiful white snow....!

Hugs,
Lisa

Seriously? You got snow?? I am so ready. This wearing shorts weather is driving me nuts!! Well, I don't actually wear shorts, more like sweats and pajama pants, but I could. I'm so happy YOU got snow. That has to be wonderful. Hoping to see some mid-month!
Hugs to you,
Lisa xx
