OWH Memorial Day Blog Hop

Coffee of the Day - Vanilla Nut

Welcome to my stop on the Operation Write Home Memorial Day Blog Hop! so happy you could join me for a cuppa! haven't the projects along the hop been fabby so far?! so much talent for such a great cause!

My card features a digital image from Create with TLC. I did my standard watercoloring, stippled the sky, and then washed the entire piece in crumb cake ink to age. The papers are from the K & Co.Americana collection. the stars were punched from a Starbucks cup holder and then inked in white craft. the gorgeous ruffle ribbon is from May Arts. buttons are tied with red & white baker's twine.

I hope you enjoy your weekend with family & friends! and say a prayer for the troops who are serving away from home to keep us safe! :)

----> btw..... I have been hopping along, but blogger is being oh, so naughty and not allowing me to leave comments on many blogs. I love what I am seeing, but sadly am unable to leave the comments I would like. I will try to go back to visit in another day or so to see if blogger has been fixed.

your next stop on the hop is

WONDERFUL card! I love TLC creations, don't you? and I have to say a big DUH to myself for not thinking about punching the coffee sleeves. I have used images off my coffee sleeves for Coffee themed cards or ATCs but never thought of the punching, thanks for the tip!

and BTW pass it along, for any blogger friends to log out, log back in, it has seemed to fix for many, and if not then UNCHECK the box that says keep me signed in, and log in again...this was told to me yesterday and it worked for me (just the log out and back in...YEAH!!

See you next Saturday also :)

Great card! I like the idea of Operation Write Home! My husband was in the Navy many years ago and packages and letters were really important to him especially during Desert Storm.

I love your card and thanks for posting. If I can save some columbine seeds I will do so for you, but they are hard to catch as they are so tiny. The weather today was gorgeous. I don't like it much above 80 though. I do hope we stay dry! But tonight is iffy again.

This is one hop I look forward to EVERY year and I sincerely appreciate your participation. My husband is a decorated Vietnam veteran and it's such a pleasure to honor those men and women serving our country in whatever capacity. Our heartfelt thanks go out to them AND to their families at home. Happy Memorial Day!
